ABOUT CATS OF DECEMBER

More Than a Name. More Than a Sound.

Cats of December is a Southern California rock band built around a shared passion for music, creative expression, and the pursuit of a sound that feels unmistakably our own.

We believe music should make you feel something. It can challenge you, take you somewhere unexpected, bring back a memory, or put words to something you’ve never quite been able to explain.

That’s the spirit we bring to Cats of December.

OUR APPROACH

We’re focused on developing our sound, playing covers or creating original music, and building a band with a distinct identity.

From songwriting and rehearsal to recording and future performances, every step is part of the process. We’re not interested in rushing the journey. We’re interested in making something worth hearing.

THE NAME

Cats of December.

A name with a little mystery, lets just say we love fantasy books and we love cats.

The imagery is part of our identity, but the music is where the meaning comes to life.

THE JOURNEY

Every band starts somewhere. This website is a place to document ours.

As Cats of December grows, this is where you’ll find our music, videos, announcements, and future live appearances.

We’re glad you’re here.

Welcome to Cats of December.

The next chapter is ours to create.
